Middle School Art Program

FREE ART CLASSES FOR MIDDLE SCHOOLERS IN THE COACHELLA VALLEY!

Welcome to the Desert Art Center, where we encourage young artists amidst the vibrant backdrop of Palm Springs, California. Nestled at 550 North Palm Canyon Drive, our center serves as a creative oasis for children aged 9-14, offering a rotation of free art classes offered on Saturdays 9am to 12pm.

As the oldest non-profit organization in Palm Springs, we take pride in our rich history of serving the community. Our goal is to provide skills to middle school-aged children and bridge the gap between elementary and high school art programs in hopes to keep kids interested in art. Students will get to experience various mediums and techniques under the guidance of experienced instructors.

The next term begins April 27th, 2024 Explore our current classes in rotation below.
