Artist Statement

I create mixed media artworks, paintings, drawings and installations, stitching together moments that exist to punctuate the human drama in order to clarify our existence and to find poetic meaning in everyday life. By emphasizing aesthetics, I seduce the viewer into a world of ongoing equilibrium and the interval that articulates the stream of daily life.
My multi-faceted mixed media artworks and installations are a collision of "fine art" and "craft" investigating romanticism and reality, as part of the collective memory. Magical work the is notable for their perfect finish and tactile nature bearing witness to the importance of great craftsmanship.
