Desert Art Center offers a full, weekly class schedule in a wide variety of mediums including Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Photography, Glass and more. Beginner or expert, you will be challenged to grow as an artist with Fine Art classes taught by the area’s top award winning professionals. Covid safety protocols are in place and class size limited to maintain appropriate distancing.

JESSICA SCHIFFMAN: PLEIN AIR | OUTDOORS AT DAC  8:00 am – 11:00 pm. Class has resumed
Beginning March 3rd, popular DAC instructor Jessica Schiffman will lead a new plein air class on Wednesdays from 8 am to 11am. 

All skill levels are welcome. Students will set up easels under the eaves outside the DAC and subject matter will include the beautiful trees, lawns, mountains and historic buildings that surround the Desert Art Center.

“I love painting outdoors. I find it very exhilarating, and so much more exciting than painting from a photograph”, she says. “You have to paint fast, and that gets you energized.”
