David Fairrington an artist and portraitist, found himself in the war fields of Viet Nam as a young man.  When his expertise in art was discovered, David joined the soldiers in the field as a Combat Artist for the United States War Department.  Much of this work is now archived in the Army Art Collection, U.S. Army Center of Military History, Museum Support Center, Fort Belvoir, VA.  When the war ended, David worked in the film industry, creating over 350 movie posters.  He eventually fused these experiences into painting personal portrait commissions for individuals, the corporate world and the entertainment industry.  David is a busy and active painting teacher in the Inland Empire and the desert cities.
