Mixed Media Abstracts

March 22-24,  9am – 4pm

This workshop will focus on different approaches to creating an under painting. You will learn how to develop these starts into abstract or more realistic paintings.

We will be using acrylic, watercolor, and other other mixed media.

Design and composition will be explored as part of the process. Each student will be encouraged to develop their own abstract style.

Kathleen is a contemporary abstract artist working in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. Her work is inspired by nature and expresses organic subjects inviting viewers to see and be aware of the beauty around them. Her work is based on unique texture techniques to describe the varied earth forms that are all around us. 

Her  art is created to help the viewer see and be aware of the electrifying beauty of nature but still create mystery.
