Middle School Art Project

The Middle School Art Project is one of the Desert Art Center's community outreach programs that provides art classes to middle school students from the Palm Springs Unified School District. Due to education funding reductions these classes are not provided in our local schools. Classes are given in drawing, acrylics, watercolor, printmaking and clay and are taught by Desert Art Center volunteer artists.

Desert Art Center has served as a creative hub in Palm Springs since 1950. Located in the historic Frances Stevens School at the gateway to the Uptown Design District, we offer exhibits, art education, and community outreach programs to support artists of all ages and levels.
