I will have a booth featuring desert landscape and wildflower paintings at this upcoming event slated for Saturday, March 2, 2019. Sponsored by the Friends of the Desert Mountains, location is Palm Desert Civic Center Park at 43900 San Pablo Ave in Palm Desert, CA. 

Each spring, the desert comes alive as the wildflowers bloom and transform the Coachella Valley into a colorful canvas. The best place to celebrate them is at the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival.

In addition to great wildflower viewing and beautiful art, the festival features a Kids’ Zone, and a 5k fun run.  There will be raffles, vendors, exhibitors, and live music in the beer and wine garden, as well as food and beverages available for purchase. 

Join Jessica Schiffman  for this month's ART TALK, Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 in the auditorium of the Desert Art Center. 

She will show you how to draw the human head in profile and three quarter view.  Bring a sketchbook and follow along.  She will be happy to answer your topical questions. 

Jessica  teaches drawing and painting at the Desert Art Center and elsewhere.  Her work is widely collected.

This event is FREE and light refreshments will be served.

The DAC Holiday Art Fair aka Boho Bazaar will begin at 10 am and end at 3:30 pm at the Desert Art Center on Saturday, December 1st.

Come  join us and see our own members’ work in fine art and fine craft.

Marilyn Froggatt, a local Coachella Valley plein air artist will have a booth at the upcoming Rancho Mirage Art Affaire.  Show runs  Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4 from  9:00am - 5:00pm on both days. Marilyn will have approximately 30 of her original framed oil paintings for sale as well as plein air panels, cards and prints.
