On Friday May 4, from 6-8pm we will be having the last opening reception of the season with a new show in the main gallery and three featured artists in the Small Gallery. Refreshments will be served. Nancy Rizzardi experiments by combining waterbased mediums with charcoal, inks and collage. She says she finds inspiration in her travels and the California landscape.
John Ressler is primarily a watercolorist, he also enjoys other challenging mediums like casein and digital art. His predominant subject matter is "anything that interests, and challenges, him. One kind of challenge is to paint representationally but also to convey a sense of abstraction."
Janis Buller was originally an abstract painter when she studied at Otis College. She is now a landscape painter who strives to catch the ever moving light. She aims to simplify her work and ‘avoids painting every thorn on the cactus!’
