Gallery open for Featured Artists Shirley James and Barbara Matheney

Gallery is open this Friday night with featured artists Shirley James and Barbara Matheney in the our small gallery.  Their show will continue through Sunday.

Shirley, a DAC gallery member, paints the Softer Side of the Desert: 

oil miniatures of the local desert and western genre and desert themed pyrography.

Barbara is an intuitive, impressionistic artist. She recreates what she sees as accurately as possible, then adds her take on the subject. He goal is to reproduce what she sees and feels with enough ambiguity to invite those who view her art to participate.
