Most of these shows are open for submission to our entire membership. Become a member to enter your work in these shows, and to receive newsletter bulletins detailing entry specifics.

INCLUSION – Celebrating Pride Week in Palm Springs
CALL FOR ENTRIES!
The Desert Art Center is excited to announce Inclusion, a themed exhibition celebrating LGBTQ Pride in Palm Springs. As Desert Art Center’s own show of pride, Inclusion is open for entries to DAC’s entire membership!
The show will run from November 4 – November 7, 10am – 4pm, to coincide with Palm Springs Pride.
Opening Reception will be held on Friday November 4, from 5-7pm.
HOW TO ENTER
• Join DAC! Submissions are limited to Desert Art Center members only -if you would like to join DAC in order to enter this show, you may do so at desertartcenter.org/join. Memberships taken at this time will be good through December 2023 and are $48.
• Members are invited to submit one piece each.
• Intake will be Monday 10/31, from 9am – 12 noon at Desert Art Center
• All 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional artwork must reflect the theme ‘Inclusion’.
Please note that art of an explicit nature will not be accepted.

We invite all of our exhibiting and non-exhibiting members to participate!
If you are not a member, simply join DAC at the base rate of $48/yr (good through December 2023) to enter this show! You can join at the gallery desk, or at desertartcenter.org/join-dac
HOW TO ENTER:
6″x6″ canvases are available for pickup at the Gallery Desk, Fridays – Sundays (September) and Thursdays – Mondays (starting October 7).
~ JOIN DAC and/or SIGN the agreement to participate.
~ PICK UP a 6 x 6 blank canvas (maximum of 2/pp).
~ Any medium is permitted, so long as it is on the 6 x 6 canvas panel
~ Dimensions must be 6” x 6” and 1 ½” deep Blank canvases will be available for pick up at the DAC gallery desk Thursdays to Mondays, 10 -4pm.
~If you’re unable to pick up a free canvas you may purchase your own – just be sure to email us at info@ desertartcenter.org to let us know you are participating.
RETURN the finished canvases to DAC WITH YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE BACK by January 9th 20234-7pm

DAC challenges its member artists create new original art that celebrates the cool aesthetic of midcentury art and design.
