We invite you to join DAC’s thriving art collective!

As a member you will meet working artists in all media, join us for our shows and receptions, and sign up for daily art classes taught by nationally renowned experts in their fields. Membership in the Desert Art Center is open to all who appreciate the value of art and would like to support it here in the Coachella Valley.

Regular Members may exhibit and sell their artwork in our series of Specialty Shows, held throughout the year in the Terry Masters Gallery, to coincide with our bi-monthly Main Gallery Member Show Openings and Receptions. Regular Members are encouraged to submit their artwork to our Art Jury, which occurs once a year. Artists selected by Jury are eligible to become Gallery members and may take part in the bi-monthly shows held in our spacious gallery.

Juried Gallery Members are invited to display and sell their work in our Members Shows held in the Main Gallery. In return for exhibiting in the Gallery, they are required to host in the gallery 6 hours each month. The DAC takes a 35% commission on all sales to support its operations and outreach programs.

Annual regular membership benefits include:

Display and sell your own artwork in DAC’s Specialty Shows, open to all members.
Invitation to submit your artwork for jury to become a gallery member and display your work in our gallery’s shows.
Your own online profile with bio and photo albums of your artwork on our website.
Invitation to all gallery events including Receptions, luncheons, museum trips, mixers, & more.
Meeting and getting to know other art enthusiasts.
Receive regular information on DAC art events.
Opportunity to support the DAC’s outreach programs for schools and education.

In turn, as a juried gallery member, we hope you will:
Attend and assist at our gallery opening receptions.
Offer your skills and experience to help us run our organization.
Promote the DAC and its membership among your friends and neighbors.
Participate and support our outreach programs.
Attend our member meetings and bring new ideas to the table.

Our membership year is from January 1 to December 31. If you join prior to July 1 your membership is active for the current year. If you join in July through December, your membership will be valid for the rest of the current year and the following year.
